- How Do I Register for Kindergarten?
- Kindergarten Registration begins in March! Monday, March 5th for Year Round and Magnet Schools Monday, March 12th for Traditional School All parents can register at their child’s neighborhood school. Learn more about how to register your child for Kindergarten.
- Kindergarten Welcome Sessions
- Durham Public Schools offers several opportunities for parents to learn more about Kindergarten. At our Kindergarten Welcome Sessions, parents have the chance to learn more about Kindergarten Registration, hear from experienced Kindergarten teachers, and get answers to any questions they may have. Steps to School Nights offer parents the opportunity to learn how to support their childrens' academic, social, emotional, and physical transition into Kindergarten.
